Maple is a 5 year old Shih Tzu that was used for breeding. She came to us with Heart Worm Disease and has been treated and is now Heart Worm negative. She had some scratches on her eyes that caused scar tissue to build up, but with eye drops she seems to see just fine. She wasn't handled by her owners much so she's still learning to trust people. She loves to play with other dogs and toys. She needs a quiet home with people that will give her lots of attention. Another playful dog and patience is a must for her new home. She also needs a fenced in, secure yard due to her vision. An application can be completed on our website. Her foster mom will be in contact with you soon.
