Heather is an 8 yr old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that lived her entire life in a puppy mill producing litter after litter of puppies. Puppy mills dogs don't usually come without some health issues. Heather had to have some teeth removed but still eats kibble mixed with a little canned. This has been no problem for her. She has cataracts but seems to see just fine. She also has a heart murmur but that doesn't slow her down. Due to living in a mill, she didn't receive much vet care therefore her ear canals had closed up from constant infection. Medicine has opened them up (our vet was even surprised how good they look now) but she is unable to hear. She is learning to communicate with hand signals. She is not on any medication. Most importantly, Heather is the sweetest, most gentle baby ever. She just wants to give hugs and eat treats. Since Heather is retired, her perfect home will be with a retired person/couple that can lavish her with love and affection.
