I love everyone but I’ve been told some find my energy and enthusiasm for life a little annoying? I can’t imagine that though! I think they just need to play more! I’m very treat motivated so if you want me to do something just teach me and I’m a pleaser because I want everyone to be just as happy as I am! Alfred is a sweet chunky boy who is ready for his forever family. He was called spicy and definitely can be. But once you earn his trust he’s all kisses. What a smart guy he is too. He has a heeler energy, loves toys and brings them back playing fetch every time. He is working on the leash, and prefers a yard for now. But no doubt he could learn to love walks and adventures. Hi I’m Ephesus! But my friends call me Effie! I’m very sweet and love to hang out with my people. I really like meeting new dogs so I can get a little excited when I first meet them, but I’ll settle down if you just give me a few minutes. I enjoy playing with the other dogs in the home but I’d be ok with or without them as long as I have my people around. I like all toys and love to carry one (or two) around with me whenever possible. My foster mom trusts me to have free rein of the house when she’s gone. But Im also kennel trained if you’re happier with me staying in there for a bit while you’re out. Hi, I’m Tito! I’m a dog with a big personality — full of energy, charm, and wiggles! When I meet new people or pups, I don’t just wag my tail — my whole body wiggles with joy! I love playing with all the dogs in my foster home (and any I meet on walks, too).

Big Red
Big Red came from a situation where he was on a property with lots if other dogs. Some chained up and some roaming. He came in with lots of physical scars that have healed and we are working on the emotional scars. Due to his previous situation he does have some trust issues with men. It will take a man with lots of patience to break through the outer shell and show him the good side of people. He does need some work on being comfortable with a leash and a tall fence since he can make it over a 4 foot fence. He also will need continued work on potty training. Basically, he just needs someone to give him a chance. His foster said once comfortable he is a love. He does good with other dogs and may need one in the home to help him open up quicker. He has been around cats and done fine. He has not had a lot of experience with kids while with the rescue.

A two-year-old tiny gargoyle with a heart of gold and the confidence of a medieval guard dog protecting the castle.
Quasi loves deeply, listens selectively, and will absolutely stand his ground if pushed too far. He’s loyal, opinionated, and not afraid to let you know when he disagrees with management.

Tobias
Once he warms up, Tobias is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves playing fetch, snuggling, and staying close to his person. He’s still learning the joys of treats and how to appropriately play with other dogs. Tobias does well with female dogs but would prefer a home without male dogs. He is gentle around cats and does well with young children.
Tobias has some separation anxiety and may bark when left alone, so he would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day. With patience, consistency, and love, Tobias will make a loyal and devoted companion.

Rixby
This wiggly boy is full of charm and affection! He’s a sweet, people-loving pup who enjoys being close to his humans and will happily follow you from room to room like a loyal little shadow.
He’s very food motivated (and then some!) and will need an adopter who can help channel that enthusiasm into training. He does best when he’s escorted outside for potty breaks and will benefit from continued structure and routine as he settles into a home.
When it’s time to relax, he’s all about the cuddles. He’s super snuggly, loving, and enjoys being close to his people.
He can be dog selective, so proper introductions and a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs are required to ensure a good fit.
