I love everyone but I’ve been told some find my energy and enthusiasm for life a little annoying? I can’t imagine that though! I think they just need to play more! Fiona
This beautiful 80 lb 3 year old bulldog/pit mix is Fiona. She is a sweet girl who ended up in a kill shelter when her previous owner passed. We are told the previous owner was not a very good person. We were able to pull this sweet girl and are now looking to find her the perfect family. She is still working on her jumping up but will roll over and show her belly for some rubs. She had done great in her kennel and jumps right in for a treat or her dinner. She gets nervous around other dogs and would be best as an only dog. However she is not a reactive girl she just prefers not to have another dog in her space. I would thrive in a home with another dog to play with! I am both potty and crate trained, so I will easily adapt to your lifestyle. Hi, I’m Morty. I’m about 10 years old, and while I may be a senior, I’ve still got a big heart and a big bark. My story’s a little rough—I don’t know what I did wrong, but my family left me behind in an empty house. It was scary and lonely until the landlord found me and gave me a second chance.
I wasn’t taken care of very well before. At my vet visit, they said the hair on my bottom and back legs is missing and the skin is calloused. I guess that happened because I was left in a very small space and couldn’t move around much. But now? I get to stretch out on a soft bed every night, and let me tell you—it’s heaven.

Big Red
Big Red came from a situation where he was on a property with lots if other dogs. Some chained up and some roaming. He came in with lots of physical scars that have healed and we are working on the emotional scars. Due to his previous situation he does have some trust issues with men. It will take a man with lots of patience to break through the outer shell and show him the good side of people. He does need some work on being comfortable with a leash and a tall fence since he can make it over a 4 foot fence. He also will need continued work on potty training. Basically, he just needs someone to give him a chance. His foster said once comfortable he is a love. He does good with other dogs and may need one in the home to help him open up quicker. He has been around cats and done fine. He has not had a lot of experience with kids while with the rescue.

“Leo is a very sweet, loving, intelligent puppy. He can be very playful & energetic and loves going on walks or playing with toys. He is a very loving, loyal boy and will bond quickly with his new family. He will cuddle up on your lap if invited and loves to snuggle. He learned in a week to sit, shake and lay down and is very trainable. He is kennel trained & has never had an accident in his kennel. He even goes in on his own if asked.
